OFFERINGS for 2011
We are very fortunate to able to offer this year some truly delectable goodies from Italy which just arrived this week in the warehouse of the importer.
Panettone originated from Milan and is a traditional Italian sweet bread usually prepared for Christmas and New Year’s. The base of all of these Panettone’s are made with all Italian products – mountain butter, farm fresh eggs, freshly prepared sugar – and the aromatics are sourced from where they are considered to be the best available – whether it be candied orange of Sicily, Turkish Saltana Raisins or South American Cocoa.
Pandoro originated from Verona and is Italy’s traditional “golden bread”. It is dusted with confectionary sugar to look
like snow on the mountains. These Panettones and Pandoros are made from a third generation baker located just north of Vicenza.
We will carry some inventory of the basic Panettone (100g and 1/2K size) and the basic Pandoro but all of the different flavored Panettone are available by special order. If you are interested in ordering any of the Panettone, please email your order along with your name and phone # to Lucinda@thewineseller.com and Lucinda will call you to confirm your order and collect your credit card information if we do not have it on file already. Once the order is placed, it cannot be cancelled. All products will be available for pickup the week of December 19th. All orders are subject to confirmation of availability with the importer.
